Islamabad: President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari received Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa in Islamabad. The president expressed appreciation for the league’s efforts in combating hatred, particularly regarding Islamophobia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also welcomed the secretary-general, commending the league’s global initiatives to clarify the true essence of Islam.
