OMAN, EGYPT SIGN M.O.U.

MUSCAT, Oman, The Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), in the tourism field, on the sidelines of meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism.

The MoU was signed from the Omani side by Ahmed bin Nasser al-Mahrizi, Minister of Tourism, whilst it was signed from the Egyptian side by, Mohammed Yahya Rashid, Minister of Tourism in Egypt.

The main objectives of the MoU are, to invest in the tourism and hospitality sector, participation in travel fairs, exhibitions in each other's country, and encouraging cooperation between tourism stakeholders, including hotels and tour operators.

Additionally, they will exchange expertise in areas of promotion, marketing, destination development and management.
