GAZA CITY: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has initiated the distribution of 2,100 shelter kits to displaced families in Gaza City, reaching a total of 21,000 individuals. This effort comes amidst ongoing military operations in the northern Gaza Strip, which have been ongoing for over two months and resulted in a significant displacement crisis.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, serving as the implementing partner for KSrelief in Gaza, began distributing the crucial aid packages. Each kit includes essential items such as blankets, mattresses, cooking utensils, and water containers, aimed at alleviating the difficult living conditions faced by displaced families, particularly during the harsh winter season.
The distribution is set to continue in the coming days, with plans to reach additional displaced and needy families throughout Gaza. This initiative forms part of a broader campaign to support the Palestinian people, launched by KSrelief under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The campaign was initiated to provide assistance to Gaza residents affected by the conflict.
