RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been awarded the 2024 Family and Child-Friendly Institution Award by the Arab League’s Social Affairs Sector, Family and Childhood Department. This distinguished accolade underscores KSrelief’s commitment to aiding Palestinian children and families enduring the hardships of occupation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the award is intended to motivate organizations across the Arab region to enhance awareness regarding the significance of family units and to advocate for the protection of children’s rights. These rights are enshrined in both international treaties and national laws, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding children under all conditions.
KSrelief has consistently focused on projects that prioritize women and children in various nations facing adversity.
