Jazan: In Jazan, sports fields, beaches, and sports clubs have become vibrant platforms for nurturing champions and uncovering new talent.
According to Saudi Press Agency, football remains the most popular sport among Jazan’s youth, while athletics, equestrian sports, swimming, water sports, and martial arts also offer ample opportunities for young people to showcase their skills and chase their ambitions.
The region’s sports clubs have evolved into integrated training hubs for refining and developing talent, while community initiatives have played a key role in encouraging girls to engage in sports and participate in tournaments.
This year’s sporting season has seen remarkable achievements, including Malik Qasadi of Altohami Club winning the gold medal in wheelchair wrestling at the 4th Asian Para Karate Championship held in Uzbekistan.
These accomplishments align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which recognizes sports as a key pillar of quality of life.
