Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, engaged in a phone conversation with French Republic President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion between the two leaders focused on ongoing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France in various fields and touched upon several issues of mutual interest. A significant portion of the conversation was dedicated to reviewing the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the efforts being made to end the conflict there and enhance security and stability in the Middle East.
Both leaders emphasized the necessity of immediately alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people and achieving a complete Israeli withdrawal. They concurred on the importance of initiating practical steps toward achieving a just peace based on the two-state solution.
