Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi praised the diplomatic efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar and the Republic of Trkiye to reach a ceasefire agreement between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, signed in Doha.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi noted that the agreement represents a positive step toward consolidating stability and strengthening bridges of trust between the two countries. He affirmed the GCC’s support for all initiatives aimed at establishing peace and promoting dialogue in the region and beyond, contributing to a more stable and prosperous future for all peoples.
He also commended the diplomatic efforts and the constructive role played by Qatar and Trkiye in this regard.
