First Week of 2025-2026 Horse Racing Season Wraps Up at King Abdulaziz Racecourse


Riyadh: The first week of the 2025-2026 horse racing season concluded on Saturday at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Al-Janadriyah, following three days of competitions held across races 21, 22, and 23.



According to Saudi Press Agency, each event featured 12 races with varying grades, classifications, and age categories for both Thoroughbred and Purebred Arabian horses. Thursday’s races included distances of 1,200, 1,400, and 1,600 meters, while Friday’s competitions were run over 1,600 and 2,400 meters. On Saturday, the races covered distances of 1,200, 1,400, 1,600, and 1,800 meters.
