Engineering and Quality of Life Forum to be Held in Riyadh on December 16-17.

Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail, the Saudi Council of Engineers, in strategic partnership with the Quality of Life Program, will hold the Engineering and Quality of Life Forum from December 16 to 17 here.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers Ahmed Sheikh stated that the forum aims to advance and support the objectives and initiatives outlined in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, particularly those related to quality of life. The event will highlight topics from an engineering perspective by hosting key figures in the field for various panel discussions and workshops.

Sheikh added that the forum will showcase key quality of life models in the Kingdom by presenting new engineering and technical projects designed to enhance quality of life. It aims to raise awareness of the engineering sector’s vital role in addressing health, environmental, and societal challenges, providing a platform for engineers
and quality of life enthusiasts to exchange ideas, expertise, and knowledge on the latest innovations and developments in the field.

He further emphasized that engineering is crucial in enhancing quality of life, driving positive economic and social outcomes through projects that meet standards for improved living conditions, ensuring a healthy and safe environment, fostering economic growth, and supporting Vision 2030’s goals of creating a vibrant society and a prosperous economy.

Sheikh highlighted that the forum targets a diverse audience, including engineers, directors of engineering firms and offices, architects, urban planners, government representatives from the housing, urban planning, and transportation sectors, real estate developers, investors interested in quality of life and sustainable infrastructure projects, technology companies, smart solution providers, and students and trainee engineers. He encouraged participation in the forum to maximize the benefits of dialogue sessions, workshops, and
opportunities to explore new engineering and technical projects.
