DIRIYAH: The Diriyah Season has announced an extension for the Imam Turki bin Abdullah “Enduring Resilience” Exhibition, now running until January 11. The exhibition marks the bicentennial celebration of the founding of the second Saudi state and pays tribute to its founder, Imam Turki bin Abdullah.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition is situated in Bujairi Terrace and offers attendees an in-depth look at the life and influence of Imam Turki bin Abdullah, a key leader in Saudi history. It details the historical, political, and social events of his time, emphasizing his journey from Diriyah to Riyadh. A range of digital media elements highlights significant milestones and narratives from the Imam’s life.



Diriyah is notable as the birthplace of Imam Turki bin Abdullah, born in 1183 AH / 1769 AD, during the prosperous era of his grandfather, Imam Muhammad bin Saud, the founder of the first Saudi state. At this time, Diriyah was a thriving economic center. Within its historic At-Turaif district and palaces, Imam Turki developed his leadership skills, guided by the wisdom and teachings of local scholars.



The exhibition operates during both morning and evening hours, inviting visitors to engage with historical stories presented in chronological order. It incorporates various visual and audio enhancements and includes sections such as “Restoring Legacy,” “Al-Ajrab Sword,” and “Reigned Victorious!” Additionally, it offers insights into the Imam’s family tree and enduring legacy, providing a comprehensive look at his contributions to Saudi history.
