Crown Prince’s Call at One Water Summit Highlights Saudi Arabia’s Leadership in Global Water Solutions.

Riyadh: The head of the founding team of the Global Water Organization, Dr. Fahad bin Saad Abu-Mouti, emphasized the significant role of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, during the One Water Summit. In his speech, the Crown Prince called upon UN member states, international organizations, and the private sector to join forces with the Global Water Organization, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to tackling global water challenges.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Abu-Mouti highlighted that the establishment of the Global Water Organization serves as a pivotal step towards unifying international efforts to develop comprehensive and sustainable solutions for water-related issues. This initiative is in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to enhance international cooperation and promote innovation in managing water resources.

Dr. Abu-Mouti further elaborated that the organization’s focus will be on addressing water challenges throu
gh sustainable strategies, improving scientific research, exchanging advanced technologies, and forging international partnerships to optimize water resource utilization.

He also underscored the shared global responsibility in confronting water challenges and encouraged nations, international organizations, and the private sector to contribute to these efforts. The ultimate goal of these initiatives is to secure a sustainable water future for generations, aligning with the developmental priorities outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, which places a high emphasis on water.
