Riyadh: The Arab League has welcomed the announcement of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, describing it as a crucial step toward ending the conflict between the two countries and achieving lasting peace in the Caucasus region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement today, the Arab League affirmed its full support for this agreement, which establishes the rules for peaceful conflict resolution. The League also expressed hope for the signing of a final and comprehensive peace agreement that addresses all contentious issues between the two nations.
Additionally, it stressed that diplomatic dialogue remains the sole solution to this long-standing conflict.
