Ambassador of Egypt: Situation entails full Arab support to Lebanon

Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Mohammad Badreddine, held a reception in honour of a group of Egyptian militants that is currently visiting Lebanon to activate military training and exchange of expertise between Lebanon and Egypt.

In his delivered word, the Egyptian diplomat hailed the robust existing relations between both countries at many levels.

“Those relations should also be strengthened at the military level,” Badreddine said as addressing an audience of senior military figures and officials.

“We are aware that you all believe Lebanon and Egypt share common challenges, a thing which makes our incessant interaction paramount,” the Egyptian diplomat said.

“The whole world is facing terrorism these days, but this doesn’t marginalise other causes. There are many major issues, with the Palestinian cause on top,” he added.

Badreddine said that talks with Lebanese Army Commander, Jean Kahwaji, have always confirmed Egypt’s keenness on the well-being of the Lebanese Army institution.

“The situation in Lebanon requires of all Arab countries to provide all the support they can,” he added.
