Shanghai: The Agricultural Development Fund (ADF) concluded its participation in the 7th China International Import Expo, held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. The fund joined the Kingdom’s pavilion, organized by the National Livestock and Fisheries Development Program, alongside several other Saudi government agencies and agricultural companies specializing in dairy, poultry, fish, shrimp, and date products.
According to Saudi Press Agency, ADF aimed to introduce agricultural investment opportunities, meet major Chinese investors and government agencies, and promote cooperation between the two countries. It highlighted the financing options foreign investors have in Saudi Arabia, as well as the Saudi Agricultural Investment Program abroad. The program, facilitated by the fund, supports the Kingdom’s food security by ensuring a steady supply of essential commodities, promoting sufficiency in staple crops, establishing strategic partnerships, and encouraging private sector investment in agriculture.

ina International Import Expo, an economic initiative by the Chinese government to enhance global trade cooperation, welcomed over 1,600 exhibitors and attracted approximately 150,000 visitors from more than 100 countries this year.
