Al-Sayahid: The ninth edition of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, held in Al-Sayahid under the theme “Pride of its People,” has solidified its reputation as a premier cultural and investment destination, drawing substantial Gulf and Arab investments. The festival’s success underscores the Camel Club’s efforts to establish the event as a dynamic platform combining cultural heritage with economic opportunity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Dahna Commercial Street, a highlight of the festival, saw a remarkable influx of Gulf and Arab investors. Oman and Kuwait led the list of participating countries, with investments covering a variety of sectors including Omani sweets, restaurants, and camel supplies. These contributions underscore the festival’s ability to provide a rich and diverse investment environment.
Al-Dahna Street contractor and commercial investor Ali Al-Habish praised the investment opportunities facilitated by the Camel Club, citing exceptional support in commercial spaces, logistical servi
ces, and media outreach. These efforts enabled exhibitors to connect with a broad audience of visitors and potential investors.
The festival also showcased high-demand heritage products, camel foods, and camel-related supplies, emphasizing the cultural identity associated with camels. The variety of products on display not only attracted considerable interest but also fostered long-term partnerships among investors.
This year’s festival reflects broader initiatives to elevate the camel sector into a sustainable cultural, entertainment, and economic hub. By aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the event caters to a wide demographic, contributing to the Kingdom’s cultural and economic development.
