4th International Fire Operations Conference and Exhibition Commences in Riyadh.


RIYADH: The 4th International Fire Operations Conference and Exhibition (IFOC) is currently taking place in Riyadh under the auspices of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. The event is organized by the General Directorate of Civil Defense in collaboration with Saudi Aramco and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. It began on November 3 and will continue until November 7, 2024, featuring participation from notable figures such as Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs Lieutenant General Saeed Al-Qahtani.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Civil Defense Director General Major General Dr. Hammoud Al-Faraj emphasized the significance of IFOC for researchers and professionals within the sector. The conference aims to facilitate discussions on various working papers, including scientific studies, field experiments, and presentations on the latest firefighting and safety innovations. Additionally, the event hosts exhibitions and workshops intended to advance
the firefighting sector by addressing recent international developments and best practices.

The conference and exhibition serve as a platform for showcasing how the Kingdom utilizes AI-enhanced technologies in firefighting and crisis management. The event explores critical ideas and strategies for advancing global fire safety, focusing on protecting lives and preserving property.
